Intellectual Property Rights – Focusing on China
and India
While the growing Chinese market
offers export opportunities, Intellectual Property Rights
(IPR) infringement is a growing concern. Exporters will need
to have knowledge of China’s IPR enforcement rules, and
include IPR protection in their business strategy. The
key forms of intellectual property are patents, copyrights,
trademarks and trade secrets. IP laws enable owners,
inventors, and creators to protect their property from
unauthorized uses. But, how do you protect your intellectual
property in other countries?
Join us on Wednesday, May 23, 2007, as our
professionals discuss ways to secure full patent rights in
another country and what the U.S. is doing to protect your
rights in countries like China and
India.
