Are you aware of the existence of stringent product standards legislation in force in many countries around the world including China, Japan, Korea and, more importantly, the European Union? These laws range from product safety to standards certification to environmental requirements. If you plan to sell your product abroad and requirements such as CE Marking, EU RoHS, China RoHS, Korea RoHS, California Prop 65, GS Marking, REACH and WEEE are foreign to you, then your attendance at this seminar is crucial. Your failure to comply with legislated standards in a particular country or jurisdiction could prevent future sales there as well as result in steep fines or other penalties. Ignorance of these laws is no excuse. Being informed in advance is your best strategy.
Joel Petak, Global Marketing and Business Development Director ? Restricted Substances, and Brian Gray, National Sales Manager, both of Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions serving a wide range of industries around the world, will present this overview.
